Tour the Shutdown!

capitol

We’ve been getting a lot of questions of late about how the government shutdown is affecting our tours.  The short answer is: it isn’t really.  The only real inconvenience is that we are currently unable to take guests inside the Lincoln Memorial.  However, all the other memorials and monuments are still fair game, and every tour guest we have led down to the Mall since the shutdown has enjoyed getting up close to the Vietnam War, WWII, Korean War, and Washington Monuments.

In fact, there’s something quite novel about exploring the National Mall with its sea of barricades.  It’s something only tourists visiting DC during a very short window of time in history get the opportunity to experience.  To become a member of this select group, contact us to reserve a spot on our From Swamp to Swank or DC in a Day tours!
