Washington Post columnist John Kelly unearths and shares an early 20th century tale that is classic DC.  Hidden underground tunnels located in fashionable Dupont Circle, a secret love affair between a plain, large-nosed kindergarten teacher and a world-renowned and independently wealthy Smithsonian entomologist, and, of all things, an extremely fertile traveling salesman, became entangled in this story.  Check out the full story here:  click here
