Spring in the City

Peak cherry blossom bloom may have passed, but there’s no better time to visit DC than right now. Spring has come to Washington, and it is stunning.  The weather is pristine, the famous landscaping is bright and lush, and each day is longer than the last.  All of these things make springtime here a tourist’s dream.

Spring is also the season of some of DC’s best events, such as the festivities of Passport DC that start next week.  Be sure to tour the embassies, some housed in palatial mansions, on May 3rd, and the Embassy Chef Challenge on May 15th.
